I think I should be able to get a piece at home depot big enough?

if your putting sheet metal door panels in why does it matter if there flimsy or not?

It doesnt really matter if they are flimsy but I just dont wan't them real noisy. I'll figure it out though. Not sure when I'm going to be doing this but soon I hope. I'll post some pictures when I start/finish.

What are you going to use to stop rattling? Is there some kind of sound deadening spray?

AFter all that it will only end up like 5lbs. lighter for each panel. Ever little bit counts though I guess......

Its thin foam stripping (like 1/2 inch wide and 1/2 thick but compressor easily). I used it when I attached my electric fan to my radiator. It should work fine and weigs practically nothing.
