T-5 Lube/fluid
What kinda lube or trans fluid do I put in my t-5? I remember a thread a while back sayin your only supposed to use 1 specific one. Anyone know?

ford says to run the MERCON ATF, i run the royal purple ATF tho its a bit more pricey too

I know we use that in our TKO's but is that reccomened for the t-5 also?

So royal purple atf seems to work? Any other word on thatgm syncromesh?

BG products sells syncromesh and I asked for a whole write up on it and it says it's compatible for manual trannies that normally require atf

You can use ATF mercon 3,4 or 5. & of course yourroyal purpleand other top brands sell stuff that works with our trannys

i run royal purple synchromax in mine...works great havnt had any problems
