Default How much to charge for 351 rebuild?

I got a 351w that a friend wants from me and its in parts in my garage now, he wants me to rebuild it for him. He saw my 302 I just got done rebuilding, I was wondering what would be a fair price for this? I was thinking like 500-600 bucks + cost of machine shop and what I want for the block. what you guys think? I just dont know what people charge for this kinda stuff.

How gooda friend is he? Your basically just going to be assembling the engine for him and the machine shop is doing the clean up. A local machine shop here charges $350 to assemble an engine and these are proffesional's so for a buddy you should be well below that price.
