88 gt wont start

i have a 88 gt with a 50 i put a new dash board in it and now the ingition dont work and i have to jump the starter silode will i do that the motor turns really slow i have charged the battey which is new put jumper cables on it when i tryin to start it i got to start it once and they it died i bouoght a new alt for it to i need help[/align]

i got it to start but it was backfirin nad **** the car never did this till i replaced the front clip
