removing egr spacer from upper intakes?
I have a cobra upper intake. why is there no room, or why does it elimate the EGR spacer? part number 51 below. i would love to remove this, since my setup does not require it at all. i can get some well needed space for the airintake tube

i am almost positive that the cobra intake has a built in egr spacer, as you can see everything still hooks up, its just there is no gasket, and no extra piece to take off.

Bypass the EGR coolant tubes with a bolt and clamp on each one, or if your good, customize them, to make it look like nothing happened.
Ford was in a Emmision's challenge with the 5.0 and thats why they did so much crazy stuff, to get it to pass Emissions and be able to keep the 302.
