Run the car down as low in gas as you can.
Less gas in the tank the easier.

Get car on stands
Slide under. Look for 2 bolts on backside of tank that hold tank straps up. ( air impact hammer is handy tool for these )
Put jack under tank and un-do bolts
Lower jack and twist and slide tank off filler neck as you lower it. ( Its a pain )
un-do ring lock on pump and remove

Pump exchange is self explanitory

Reinstall.

Takes about an hour the first time. Much less after that.

Having an extra set of hands to help wrestle the tank
back up helps, but I've done by myself before.

Make sure you replace the filler neck seal while tank is down.
Little WD-40 on neck will help new seal slide on too

Also make sure you clean the crap out of the pump area....also remember the pump only goes in one way I think I remember a dot that lines it up....cuz getting that stupid snap ring back on can be a pain if you dont know what your lookin for....oh and there is this little gay rubber o-ring that is there when you pull pump...make sure thats in place/tact...or it will leak....

if the tank is near empty shouldn't take more than 45 min...undo the straps , drop it down and slide tank away from filler neck, then undo lines and connections on top of tank and tap retaining ring around that holds sending unit in place

Replace the fuel filter and strainer as well or face another failed pump.
