I'm having a hard time understanding what you mean there..

All you need to do is back probe the signal and ground wire (green signal and black ground) with a dvom (voltmeter DC) KOEO (key on engine off) and make sure it reads about .98-1V at idle (throttle closed) and around 4.5V at WOT. Go slow in the middle too to see if it doesn't read. If it does not to that, then you can condemn the TPS.

That's not a tps problem. It's an accelerator cable or return spring problem or maybe something w/ your throttle body is sticking.
