Suspension Help.....
Well, I finally installed all my suspension and did all the upgrades that I wanted to do but I'm honestly not happy with what I have done and need some suggestions to make things better. I recently installed D&D K Member, A Arms, UPR Coil Overs & Stange 10 Way Adj's... along with a FR manual steering rack. I am having a few problems.
-The ride quality is pretty harsh, unless I'm on a road that was paved yesterday it feels as if the entire front suspension could fall off any second (exadurating (sp?) a little bit but you know what I mean...)
-I took my car for an alignment after I did everything and the shop told me that my tie rods were too short. I am using the tie rods that were supplied by Flaming River with their manual steering kit, anyone else have this problem? I remember comparing them to the stockers a while back and they looked to be the same length, could be wrong though?
-When installing all of the suspension, I really didnt know what I wanted out of the car, drag car, road race, etc. but I definetly expected better handling out of it. Problem is, it seems as if I got the opposite. I have the quick ratio manual rack but if feels as if my steering capabilities are very limited, is this normal? If so, I have a feeling a may be converting back to power steering, sucks I threw everything away
-I have strange 10 way adj's in the front and rear. Front suspension is listed above and rear suspension for now is completly stock down to the springs. Any suggestions on settings for daily street use?
Thanks for any help in advance guys.

RE: Suspension Help.....
Use those 10 ways and soften it up a little. What did they mean by too short on the tie rods? the length of the threads or the length of the tie rod itself??? I would have left it power steering but that is just me.

RE: Suspension Help.....
I basically have the same set up as you only the complete coilover from d &d and their k-member and a-arms and lakewood shocks and struts... I however kept my power steering..and my car handles well but it is set up for drag race and on my gravel road it is like driving a brick = stiff. but I wanted it that way for race

RE: Suspension Help.....
I was going to use the D&D coil over setup but their a arms were on backorder for over 4 months so I said screw it and just went with the UPR setup.
As for the tie rods, I believe that they just need to be longer, more threads which ould also mean physically longer.

RE: Suspension Help.....
The manual rack may not have inners that are as long as the factory piece.... Hell, I don't even know if the inners are came with the piece you got.....But lowering the car shouldn't affect toe that much...so I assume there is a compatibility issue between stock and aftermarket stuff....Or maybe you got outer tie rods for a power rack??... (Just suggestions).
