headlight switch ? on an 86 gt
im about to buy a 1986 gt, the only problem is with the headlight switch. you have to pull out the switch then push it back in a little to get the light to come on. i was wondering if anyone has had this problem or knows how to fix it. thanks in advance

i would just get one of a 4 banger from a junkyard. or if u know what ur doing u can take the switch apart and clean the corrosion of the contacts inside the switch and it might work better for a while

lol, you actually have to take the switch apart to clean the corrosion, they usually break once u seperate them, or...you could just take it out, and cycle it like a bajillion times(technical number there) and then try it. that might fix it, might make it worse, or might not do anything lol +1 on finding a used one, check ebay and stuff
