would hollowed cats sound the same as an offroad pipe. the dual cat pipe is aftermarket, 2.5", not a stock 4 cat pipe

my car got more "growl" (if that makes sence) after the o/r h pipe.

it use to just sound mean, but now it has that hollow, old school growl that i love so much

yea i say no cats if you have no emissions, i have no cats on mine, but i have to go to emissions here in CT and i am looking for anyway to beat the system....good luck but if you are worried about visual inspection just gut em...ull be ok, no big power or sound difference, my old camaro had the cat gutted, and it was louder rthan stock, so gut em...
