I just had my stock T-5 go out on me and I put in a world class T-5 (didn't have the money for a temec....actually didn't have the money for the t-5 but...) Is the world class geard different from the stock t5? Does it need a different speedo gear? Cuz now when I'm going down the highway it says i'm doing 85 at like 1800 rpms and i know i'm not cuz big trucks are passing me. Any help is appreciated.

Go out on the freeway and do this:
reset your trip meter at a mile marker (any mile marker)
now drive exactly ten miles (find the 10th mile marker)
Look at your trip meter - how many miles does it read?

Then pull out your speed sensor and count the teeth on your existing speedo gear.

Then find a shop that carries speedo gears and that makes gear reduction/adduction boxes. Tell them what you've found (#teeth, # miles). You may be able to just swap the speedo gear, but you may have to have your speedo cable cut and a converter box put in (thats what I did).

I don't know how you find shops that do this, I just stumbled across one (it's a local company (not chain) that carries auto parts, tools, and paint stuff but has a machine shop out back). If you can't find one near you I can get you in touch with this one.

u proble have a newer speedo gear in there from when mustangs had a 140 speedo u proble have 85 on urs try switching the speedo gear to a pre 90 1
