You would leave some good power potential there. A real custom cam would utilize what you have already invested in.....

ya thats what i thought, the only thing is it has to be emission legal for california, ill probly have to call to see if there is any big differnce in cams when i call. i probley woudlnt pass if i put 1.7 rockers do you think?

The thing is emissions are weird. In that, I've seen 600HP blown cars pass smog...my car passed with an Fcam....along as you have all the smog crap hooked up....cats etc etc. Its like a hit and miss....oh and back off your timing a bit when you take it in back to stock...yeah SMOG is gay....makes me want to build an old car......haha

If a CARB sticker is not required (and you can tell the inspector is a E-303 or any of the other CARB exempt cams), a custom cam can be designed/built to be "emissions friendly" with your setup.
