getting flash

on earlyer post someone metionend something about getting the cpu flashed is that nesccary after a cam intakemanifold and nitrious. what does flashing do ...

burning a new program so the computer understands the changes.....5.0's don't need to do it

it can help....but newer cars have to do it

they won't run right w/ a gear change even
