hi guys i have a 86 302 block and i bought it with a set off gt40p heads and upper and lower intake would these fit on my motor because i bought everything, but not install what needs to get done to make them work on a budget in this motor i want to do a 306 fuel injected. and can i still bored it out at 0.030 what pistons can i used

im pretty sure gt40ps need special headers and i would assume it would fit but im not sure..you might try searchin the forums for it theres a bunch of stuff bout gt40 heads

you need to either notch the pistons you have in there now or bore it out and get pistons with the notches already

so i can bored the motor at 0.030. how do i notchthe piston do they sell them. hey i really can used ur help on building my motor and these heads would work right.

yes, bore it out then buy pistons with a 4.030 bore and notches

cool your the best man hey, you know any website i can get those pistons, and one more question after i bored the motor and get those pistons what do i do to the heads and intake.

Summitt and Jegs will have the pistons you need. Take the heads to a machine shop for a good valve job and have them checked over very well.
