Default spark plug question

so i went to napa today to pickup plugs for my truck, dads car, and my mustang...told the guy my year, model all that stuff that you normally do..i saw right in the book it said autolite 25..and i was like cool there ya go n hes like whats the 8th character in ur vin number..a D or a T..i was like? lol no clue n my car was at home cuz it was rainin...i was just wondering whats the deal.he said it was only 94s...i figured maybe Cobra or GT ..but idk...any idea what the difference in teh plugs is?..

There is a differene. D is for the Cobra. Those plugs have a longer reach.

Edit: Although Autolite 25's are for your car...they wont work on a Cobra. Autolite 764's are for Cobra's so I don't know why he even bothered to ask anyway.

i kinda figured it was somethin to do with the GT,Cobra...but i even asked him..n hes like well it doesnt say inmy book here..so i cant help ya..its not that bigga deal i probably woudnt have even done them today but i was there so i figured id pick them up...

Dude you went to NAPA...the people that work there have the same certification as someone that works at McDonalds. Not knocking anyone that works there in particular but most of them don't know **** if it wasn't for the computer or there handy little book. I got pissed off with one guy once because he refused to get the coil packs and plugs I asked for stating that they weren't the correct ones for my car when I had already told him that I knew that but I don't have the factory motor.
