Default Brake cylinders and shoes

Hi guys, I have a question about which brake cylinders and shoes to get for my 1983 5.0 GT. I was looking at Brakeware and Raybestos cylinders and Duralast shoes because of the low price. Do these parts prove reliable from the experience of people who use them?

Any suggestions on brake cylinder and shoe brands are welcome!

I have never had any issues with raybestos, an know several people who like Napa.

I was BS'ing with a guy at autozone (and from what I've seen in the past) that those crap 'Albany' brake pads they used to carry were complete junk, and they had so many warranty issues with them that they stopped carrying them and now have Duralast. I don't know what company makes them for Duralast, but some of their drums and rotors are made in China. [:@]

exactly why I'm not a fan of autozone brakes stuff..I bought a set of 16 dollar valuecraft rotors for my wifes camry and the stupid things warped 1 week later and I had new calipers on too...so I replaced with some napa true stops and have been good to this day since...cheap chinease metal!!! ftl[:'(]

Yes! and they claim their rotors warp because they stack them on the shelf vertically when they should be laid flat. (at least the ones that come out of the box warped)
