is a 79-86 mustang hatch the same as 87-93?
im not sure if they changed them or not?

I think there the same other than the gt spoiler i had an 86 with a rotted hatch and replace it with a hatch from a 92 and it bolted right up. so i think you will be ok.

They are the same but somewhere I read that the 79-82's were slightly different down toward the tail lights. I don't think they are though.
