Default anyone whos installed an aftermarket intake i have a quick question

I put some rtv sealant on the front and rear of the engine but I didn't put any around that hole on the back (about an inch in diameter and used for the pcv I think)...was I supposed to? btw yes i have installed that baffle and everything

is it leaking??....i RUN A THICK BEAD OF silicon from one side to the other on the front and rear in place of the end gaskets and the bead follows the same pattern as the end gaskets..as long as you did that..it'll be fine

yea thats exactly what i did but on the back of the intake into the engine there is a hole for the egr...i was worried about whether that had to have silicone go around it or not...

thee is a rubber grommet with a cylindrical mesh/ seperator that goes in the the hole for the pcv valve...if that's the one your refering too...as for egr...it either needs to have a delete plate over hole or valve installed
