i broke a front U joint at 50mph in my ranger and being still attached to the rear it bounced around under my truck till i stopped. local shop rebuilt the u joints put a new yoke on, made sure it was straight and painted it for under $100

I picked up a driveshaft last night. Will replace the U-joints and drop it in this weekend. Thanks all for your responses.

An aluminum Ford Motorsports shaft is $300 now! I remember buying one for $180 brand new a few years ago. I am so behind.

get one off ebay. i just put one on and its alot more balanced than stock much better ride and i think it picks up a lil better(rolling and you punch the gas).
