oil concerns repaired but aode questions
Ok so today i dropped the kmember and replaced all my mains and rod bearings thank god i caught it in time crank want so scored so new bearings pump good to go just a fyi what a pain in the *** if you have noone to help you!! so i get 80psi at cold 30psi hot idle and 45psi at 2200 so i fell im good to go thats with 10-30 mobil 1 so i mounted all new manual gauges i bought the pod and got the boot,oil pressure,fuel pressure,coolant temp and wideband if anyone is in the metro Detroit area detroit speed shops has everything in stock on sale for 40-70% off i bought all cobalts for 50% off what a steal .Now my concern i put a 410 last weekend in and my concern is i have a aode while driving wot 1st gear 10lbs boost i actually go into fuel cutoff due to rpm's yes i know it needs a tune but what can i do to get my shifts back down this is the aode. One of the gears is in the trans in the housing and i know this one cant be changed easy but the vss i should be able to change that should help my speedo a bit also this the right direction?? i think thats what took out my bearings you blink your eyes and from idle to 6200 like that. So pcm shuts off fuel and there is 10lbs of boost thats not good. Tune is coming with my other engine but not yet any input????
