if you still have the SC bracket in there then you are having the same issue i am and that is you don't have the little T-bracket that went off the altenator in place which holds the altenator slightly higher and would cause your belt length to change slightly.

I think...

I have an SN 95 and am getting rubbing in that same place.

use a shorter belt and turn the tensioner so its not so far down.
ps,you'll have to drill a new hole for the tensioner spring end.

Stock pullies 100% sure i've had the im the third owner my cuz was the second and his uncle was the first.

can you take a pic or find one for me? it would help.


And I thought about drillin the new hole and turnin the tensioner up, but that would be like a last resort ya know.. Thanks guys your helpin me alot, very much appreciated!
