ok so i went from a 2.73 to a 4.10 and i have a hell of a vibration at 58-73mph really bad to the point where the tail shaft seal started leaking. Sounds like driveshaft to me anyone have any input? i new ring and pinion and clutches were installed. No vibration under that speed and when put in netural it goes away for the most part.????? any idea's i was gonna get the drive shaft balanced tomorrow

I had a vibration after my 2.73 to 3.73 install. With the 2.73 ratio I had a vibration at around 85-90. After the 3.73 it was around
40-50. An aluminum shaft fixed my problem.

Thats odd the driveshaft speed should increase with the gear change so the speed should have increased i would think.

Who did the install? I would take it back to them.

same here i would take them back, i did my install from 2.73 to 4.10s back to 3.73, never had any vibration sounds like they are not shimmed right to me
