if the alternator is NOT charging then you are lucky because you have a great lead to fixing the problem. isolate it and test it...autozone will do it for free. you may need a new one.
after going through my electrical problem i CAN NOT stress enough that if you just replace cables and re-due grounds and DONT clean the surfaces your just chasing your tail.
