Default engine question

just wondering if theres any difference between the 95 engine and the 89 i know there both 5.0 , just got one given to me and was just wondering . thanx

they are exactly the same XCEPT the pistons out of the 95 are hyperutetics and the 89's come with forged!!!

dont the 89's have forged internals? if the its the whole engine the acessories are a little bit different and the intake mainfolds shaped a bit different/the egrs in a different spot

^^^^ you don't need forged unless you plan to add boost later or Nos....but with an h/c/i power output = same

what do you mean?? if your car is an 89.. then you need to swap your timing cover onto the 95 block and you can't use the intake... you can use the complete long block like I said earlier...ie heads, and block/ rotating assembley
