Fuel pump question

Fuel pump question
I got my stang out for the first time tonight, and the fuel pump is really noisey, (high pitch sound) It has never been that noisey. Is it possible it could be going bad or maybe picked up something in the pump?

Yes, it could be on it's way out. However, mine did that for about 2 years before I finally did something about it.

I would just change it out, it doesn't take very long and you can pick up a performance one for fairly cheap
