Default Questions Questions Questions

1. Bad o2 sensors, what would that do to my car and what are the symptoms of them being bad, and how do i go about replacing them, do i have to drop the exhaust?
2. How do i go bout checking the volts on my tps, and how do i adjust it?
3. Can somebody email me the vacuum line schematic so i can figure out where they go so i can redo mine, some are missing some are plugged up, tlcnjc2004@yahoo.com?
4. Where is the fuel filter located on my car, im sure its never been changed and needs it?
5. On car domain.com i seen a fox body with a 95 gt steering wheel in it, i want to do this, has anybody done this, and do you think it would be pretty difficult?

I ask all this cause i started on the bodywork on my car today and i should be done by saturday with it weather permitting, and it goes into the paint booth monday, and then onto the road, the car is idling funny and shuts off on me sometimes and i have to give it gas to keep it running, and these questions are what i have narrowed it down to, any feedback would be much appreciated, im ready to put her on the road finally, ive had her for a year working on her, and i cant wait. Much appreciated

the fuel filter is under the car connected to the line coming out of the gas tank. go buy a new one and crawl under the car and u will see it. it has 2 little clips that will pop out- try to use your fingers but use a small screwdriver if necessary but dont break the clips. its easy, i just changed mine the other day.

your car used the readings from the 02 sensors (and other things) to adjust your air-fuel ratio accordingly. bad 02 sensor == runability problems for sure. for idle, check the IAC and clean throttle body if possible like the other guys said. could also be vacuum leaks somewhere. u can spray some carb/throttle body cleaner on vacuum fittings to check for leaks. if your car will idle on its own, then when you spray a vacuum leak, it should make the idle change noticeably.
good luck
