i was messing with my car earlier and was tryin to see when it hit the rev limiter,and it never did,my tach said 7000 once and it never cut out or anything,i thought it was at like 6200,but it never did anything,anyone have any ideas as to y its not working,and how to fix it.

ummm....dont rev it that high. shift at 5200-5300 ish

well i dont shift that high i was just wantin to see if it was there and if it worked but apparently it dont work no more,i was just courious to see if it had one and if it worked,cuz i thought it had one,its no big deal to me it was just one of them "hey i wander if this works" kinda things.

I believe 6250 is the cut point in the factory ecm...besides on a nearly stock 5.0 why would you rev it that high?? do you have a death wish for your motor??.....factory redline is around 5800 I believe.. so go no further or start looking for a new motor
