yes i tried 1,2, gear and nothing it does the same i mean i stomp on the gas and it revs but doesnt go it takes forever to get up to speed im starting to think its the tranny but the thing is when it shifts it shifts fine no noise or stall in between

I thnk the bands in your transmission are slipping very badly and are starting to burn up. Or maybe like i siad before a bad converter but personally i've never seen a stock torque converter go bad so i think is is kinda unlikeley!

so rebuilding the tranny would help? ok so this is what i got going on cat gutted im doing this weekend and also code check to see what i need to replace and maybe rebuild a tranny i got all that going on within this month if none of that works u will see a post saying 1994 5.0 mustang for sale on here lol with brand new evrything pretty much lol ill let u guys know what happends more or less this weekend with the engine codes and cat gutted
