Default Clutch Advice needed

Ok so my clutch only engages right off the floor. I've adjusted the crap outta the cable. What do I need so the clutch grabs higher up?

I do have a firewall adjuster but it's not installed. The clutch is a King Cobra and it's about 6-7 months.

Same thing happened with me dude.I don't even think mine was releasing all the way....The pressure plate is so stiff on that thing it will stretch an old cable rather easily. Mine is all screwed up and I am in the process of putting in a new cable and firewall adjuster. I already have and aftermarket quadrant.....but I got a Steeda 3 piece kit for $100

If you have a new cable..... You may havea bent pedal. If it fully disengages and is at the max amount of adjustment..... it's either normal or you need the firewall adjuster.

From the screw on the clutch fork. Was that not right?

Ahhhh, you bought an adjustable cable. So are you adjusting it the correct direction? How much toe play is there and do you still have the factory quadrant set up?

Yes I still have the factory quadrant. There's really not much play in the pedal at all.
