Default 347 stroker motor any good?

I'm looking for a new crate motor to drop in my 90GT, but I'm trying to find one that doesn't break the bank too bad. Originally I was after a 302, but after some research it appears as though a 347 would get me a decent power boost so if I can find one for a little bit more I'm intersted. Summit and JEGS have decent motors, but they appear to start around $6K. I've recently found T & L Engine Development motors available on ebay for about $4K.

Check out this link to the motor I'm talking about - 347 stroker

Does anyone have any experience or know someone who has with a T & L Engine Development motor? Pros / Cons ?

Thanks in advance.

they are fine and with a 347 you'll need all supporting mods and fuel system

Thanks for the quick response.

Do you know of any places where I could get a new 302 or 347 for a lower price?

What modifications would be necessary for the 347?

For fuel system can I just replace in-tank electric pump and fuel injectors? Do I need a new high flow fuel rail as well?

You should check out fordstrokers.com haven't used them first hand, but from what everyone on here says, they are good quality for the budget.

Eventually I'd like to build a 351/400 off a Dart block with the 4.125 bore, and throw a 3.75" stroker crank in it. A carb'd big bore 400.
