What to look for before taking it out?
Alright. I havent started the beast in3 years and I just wanted to know what I should look for before and after starting it.
Ill be doing an oil change for sure, and was thinking about a rad flush to make sure everything runs smoothly. Also, wanted to make sure my belts and hoses were in good order.
Im very confident it will start quite easy, but just wanted to know by experience, what I should look out for ?

worn gaskets = good to know.
I bought tires, brakes all round + the entire kits for the drums in the back. Might be all rusted out by now.
Here`s apic a few month before storing it )

3 years?
What happened that you didn't start the beast for 3 years?
My guess is that you're in the military and where deployed, if not then theres no reason why you couldn't have atleast took it around the block a couple times to keep it in good shape.

Anyways, changed oil, I made a rad flush since I was under there, new gas and new battery and it strated on the first turn. Left it running for about 10 min and no leaks.
Checked out pretty much everything and its in great shape. Now to get my plates!!
Thanks guys.
