EGR spacer

Im putting a Block off Plate on my EGR, should i eliminate that EGR spacer while im at it?

if you have a plate to block off the egr i dont see the reason to remove the spacer. but it wouldnt hurt i dont think. did you make sure to plug the vac line and run the resistors to the EGR plug to fake it out.
