Which is better , sound and preformance?

I am thinking of getting an X

but i need to keep my stock one, for emissions, how much effort will be involve in removing and replacing it? Thanks

I am just looking for a cheap used one.

h pipe is more of a rumble where x pipe is like a nascar...some say x pipe flows better then an h but im happy with my h pipe...

short headers or long tube ?

you could swap out in an hour if you have no trouble w/ the bolts.... long tube h-pipes are much much easier since they are so much smaller, and the o2's are in the headers...so your just dealing w/ the pipe

for short headers ? maybe closer to 2 hours but depends if your good at it and how crappy the bolts are to r&r

Solid, thanks for the in puts. Yea i totaly forgot aobut the o2 senz.

I was gonig to get under her and take a look, but it has been raining like a mother for about 3 days.

The smog hook up isn't in the h pipe is it?

I have the Pypes off road X and I like the sound, even through the stock mufflers. The "X" just makes more since if you race and the "H" if you just want a sound. I've got Summit headers as well. Can't help with emissions Nebraska has no testing yet, so all my smog stuff is gone.
