Default Vibration even worse on deceleration

I have so far installedan energy suspension tranny mount as well as there bushing for the tranny, and a new summit harmonic balancer which was part of the problem. Now if I go over 75 mph it vibrates throughout the car badly, get worse as speed increases, but when I let off the gas and coast around those speeds it feels like the car is going to shake apart because of the vibrations. Any ideas of what else it could be other than rebalance thewheels and see if the drive shaft is in the correct position, I did check the u joints and they looked fine as well.

^^^^^ Very good possibility that's what it is. When you accelerate you put pressure on pinion bearingso your slop in pinion gear and vibrations wont be so evident. But when your driving and you let off the gas your piniongear does not have the pressure on it so the slack and vibrations will be more evident. Grab the driveshaft near the pinion gear and see if you have any in and out play.

The rear end does not make any noise that I have heard what so ever. This sucks that I can't do any work on the car yet. I will check that out.

The rear end will not always make noisethat will be evidentif pinion gear is wearing out. Since you probably shouldnt be underneath your car pushing and pulling right now, just try to find someone else to do it for you.

Thats the plan, so at the rear end I need to see if there is any movement back and forth and side to side.

i have this prob too, but i thought it was due to my 4.10 gears?

my car doesent feel like its going to "shake apart" but its enough for when i let off the gas, that i get back no the gas lightly to get it to stop.

i just got my frount ujoint, seal, and tail bushing replaced, where is the pinion gear? im not sure how to check it

Gears are ring and pinion. They mesh together. How long ago was the gear install. The rear of your DS is attached to the pinion gear. The pinion depth and lash must be spot on or the gears will not work right, leading to premature wear and eventually failure. The pinion gear has a crush sleeve that is a mother to "crush" after that you wont the bolt to be snug. If the pattern is not right on the ring and pinion then the gears are not installed correctly.

Does that mean I need a new crush sleeve only or what will I need to have this issue resolved if it is the problem.
