I would run 4.10's and a 28" tire but I like hooking hard and going fast.

Regardless of what gear you choose make sure you grab a sticky tire, if not a drag radial then a good high performnace street tire. I have 3.55s and my car untuned could spin the tires fairly easily. I went with a conservative gear because of future KB plans, with nitrous you can get away with a lower gear. All that aside I'd never put 4.10s in a daily driver especially one that sees the highway. 3.73 or 3.90 could be a good compromise for you.

Now today a guy came into my store and he just put a turbo kit on his 93 5.0. He will sell me his rear with no axles or brakes for $150 and it has 3.55s, what will this do compared to like a 3.73, 3.90 or 4.10s? I have juice now, but I do plan a diy s/c come tax time. I will be running street tires with a 420 treadwear on 18s. So not sticky, but better than stock.

3.55 aint too bad, you will have a few rpms left on the table crossing the line, imo 3.73 and 3.90 seems to be a better choice if you are making 3250rwtq+
