Default over heating problem

just installed a mr gasket 180* thermo
Its about 85 degrees outside, after i got done isntalling the thermostat it was fine for about 2 days then my temp when up up and away to about 2 bars before 270. i tried flushing my radiator, and tried to burp it but nada helps
had friend double check the thermo and it was installed correctly.
when i try to burp it, the water never really goes down it just get higher and higher until it shoots a fountain of antifreeze?

You either have a huge air pocket, the new themostat is stuck or the waterpump impeller is slipping or broken.

Are you letting the car warm up before you 'burp' it? You said you tried to flush the rad. Does that mean you did it but it did not help?

the coolant will blow out like that and then suck down real fast right after it always happens. burp it again you still have a huge air pocket in there

if you listen carefully at the thermo housing you can hear the thermostate like whineding or like grinding not sure if thats normal lol

o and one other question, is it ok to just run water only in the radiator with that water wetter stuff, ive heard you need the coolent for the lubrication and fight against corosion, but ive also heard that water and that water wetter stuff is just fine ?

those systems are not that hard to bleed they have a bypass hose on the stat housing. if it jumps out instead of sucking in you probably have a blown head gasket, sorry
