my exhaust!!! help with the cat's
ok so i have a 94 gt with magnaflow exhaust...
it dies everyonce and a while and it seems to have not very much power.
i took the muflers off and stuck a stick inside to see if the cats had the honeycomb inside and there is...
what is the best way to get rid of it without gitting the cops all up in my s***???
i also have two cats in series...fyi

take the midpipe off replace with another midpipe.your choice offroad x or one that is catted....
for offroad use only :> =========take the midpipe off run a big pipe thru the cats make sure you get all the brick out or it will stop up your mufflers.. with the midpipe off would be a good time to install some headers.

why should i sell them???
what if i get pulled over for loud exhaust and have to go to the ref...
shouldnt i keep them so i can just put them back on so i can get signed off???

I don't know, If you read my post you'd see that I said, " If you get rid of those cats for goodmake sure you sell them." I'm in Wisconsin and the emission and loud exhaust laws aren't quite as strict so that would be something I would do...I don't know how strict your state is.

my car is mainly stock.
all except for exhaust and cold air intake...
but i live in california and we have the most strict laws in the nation and they are hella gay about loud exhaust here... but you are right they wont be able to just look under my car from the side of the road because it has about 5in of clearance...
but would it be any different if i gutted them instead of totaly eliminating them???
