Default best, cheap place to buy a built bottom end(302, 306)?

hey, i have a 95 gt with a built 302witha stock bottom end. it blew up a couple months ago prolly cuz of the stock 140k mile enigine in it. all i need is a bottom end cuz ill just put everyting else from my blown engine in there. im also gonna do all the work so ill only be paying for parts here.

ive been saving up and i already have enough to buy a stock bottom end at kragen for 750.00. i dont wanna be impatient and just get that when i can buy a built bottom end from somewhere else for around that price. the problem is idk too many places that sell built blocks. if anyone knows of a good, trusted company that sells built blocks(302, 306) for anywhere around 1000 pls lemme kno.if anyone else also has advice on what else i can do with my car, pls do tell...thanks

heres some pics of my car...

i think the crankshaft broke in two considering that the pully is pointing upwards..sucks...

your not gonna get a complete performance short block that cheap so best off buy the one at the parts store cause performance ones will range from 1000 to 1500 and come with no cam usually and or timing chain and no oil pump

Best and cheap don't go together. A good short block at a reasonable cost can be found at www.fordstrokers.com
