hey guys i friend off mine told me to move the distributor around and crack it so i did and the car started right up,but i try to rev it and it takes a couple off seconds to the gas to go up and a hear like a explosion whats that mean if you can help me out

as long as it is running you need to do the timing first...warm it up , remove the SPOUT connector and then set it. if you do dnot remove the SPOUT b4 changing it, it won't take right.
