Ignition question
Hi all,
This is my first post and I'm looking for some help. I have a nice 88 gt convertible that I purchased upon making it back home from Iraq. I love it. Well recently, one of my brothers moved my car from the garage and I assume that they did not know about the key release button under the steering column because now, the car can be started without the key- just turn the switch. Also, the steering lock won't hold- just turn the switch. So now, she's grounded because anyone can take off in her. Before I take it to the dealer and cough up $$$, what is the problem and how can I fix it (if I can). Thanks.

RE: Ignition question
Don't go to the dealer, get a lock smith to install a new ignition or if your inclined you can do it your self and they sell for like 15, 20 bucks on ebay or new at the locksmith for a fair price, less than a $100 installed, here in Texas anyway.
PS. my88 Vert does the same thing just don't tell anyone
