okay, this is in my g/f's stang, its an 87 aod 5.0,
we got the tires blananced (so thats fixed) and the car doesnt pull in either direction (so its not the alighnment)

however, every once in a while the car begins to shake pretty violently, at its worse prolly moving the steering wheel over an inch in either direction
and yet sometimes the car drives perfect
only problems with the car as far as i know are the front rotors are slightly warped (shes getting them cut tonight) and theres some slight dry rot in the tires (we'll get new tires when her truck sells) otherwise the cars pretty mint and minus the p.o's random bumps and bruises on the body...

any ideas on whats causing this havoc

check u joints on the driveshaft
check wheels for wobble
get rid of the dryrot tires, thats dangerous. have the new tires properly balanced
