Default Springs, shocks struts life span?

What is the life span of factory springs? Also, what about the shocks and struts? And one final question, do they make improved springs that do not lower your car? I found these but they lower it 7/8" and 1/2". Is that the least amount of lowering I'll find?

Not entirely sure...it probably depends on how you drive. Anyway, I replaced my shocks/struts at about 130k.

Yeah, I bought this 90 coupe about two months ago. I was told it probably has 240k on it. There are lots of maintenance things I need to do, suspension being one. I don't notice anything terribly wrong with the suspension but better safe than sorry, especially considering the condition the ball joints and tie rod was in.

I've never had a factory spring wear out..some may break in half due to rust.......as for struts mine were still okay at 200k with okay ride quality..depends on how car was treated and maintained
