Default A/C and smog delete ?

I am doin an h/c/i right now and i was gunna delete the a/c and smog.
i have the ford racing a/c delete that brings the ps pump up and then i was goin to take all the smog stuff out...BUT my friend said i would need a smog pump delete pulley for it to run right. is this true or no???

No just a shorter belt and it will need to be routed differently

not true... i did exactly that.

what some are concerned about is the hard angle it will pul on the alternator....you'll see what i mean ..... and they want that idler pulley to reduce that angle on the belt.

other than that, you will have to go the OPPOSITE way around the crank for it all to spin properly

So I had no smog, and now no AC. Do I HAVE TO go around the crank the oposite way??? I jussssst got the right belt, and if I have to go around the oposite way it doesnt fit. Let me know I'm a little cloudy onthe whole deal here, thanx a lot!!
