Tailshaft play

RE: Tailshaft play
you'll have to remove the shifter first and tap out the roll pin holding shifter block in place then un bolt cross member and tailshaft housing and speedo cable and anything else in the way and while pulling back on tailshaft housing slide the shifter block back off the shaft and it should all come out.....can't remmeber if the h-pipe will be in the way but if it is loosesn and let it hang a little once tailshaft housing is out be careful not to knick up the case to drive it out..a seal/bushing driver is best to use

Thanks Mike, it almost sounds just as easy to just pull the tranny and have the extra room available. I have never done a t5 so I may benefit from just pulling it out.

lol, might order one of thouse to have for extras!
when they called ford for my part, they said that there where only 2 in the hole state, and that its not a easy part to comeby.

Mike, how long did it take you to do the bushing in the 95?
