Default Tailshaft play

What is needed to fix this probelm, is there a bearing inside the tailshaft housing or what is needed to fix this problem, it causes the car to vibrate pretty bad and it is also causing a leak at the tailshaft area as well, I know it is not the seal because I have already replaced it. Any tips on what exact parts are needed to fix this issue, I am fairly sure I can do the work myself.

Thanks

it's a brass tailshaft bushing that you need.....easiest way to replace one is remove the tailshaft housing

I looked at the parts break down and there is no reference to the bushing at all. I want to get the part ordered but I am not sure I can if I don't have any part number or anything like that.

i just had my tailshaft bushing, seal, and frount U JOINT fixed.

they said the ujoint killed the bushing

as far as i knw ford is the only ppl with the bushing, and many DONT CARRY IT, AND IS A SPECIAL ORDER.

after thinking it was the seal, and having that go, then do thouse 3 the next day, it was a very painful angry experence, lol, but the car is tip-top now, no more vibration, or leaking.

try thouse asap!

if you look up my threads, i wrote a huge one up about what happend to me

Thanks guys, do I just remove the tailshaft housing and replace the bushing, or is it a very involved situation? I will be ordering that part today or tomorrow.
