i love my sn as well, doesnt feel like a dog at all, i can spin 1st and 2nd easly and chirp 3rd. it may be alittle heavier but it rides a ton better and has "newer" technology compaired to the fox. if i were you, id get gears installed asap, i have 3.73's if you had them i bet your story would change.

Sorry, I forgot about the difference of both cars:
1988 GT (Vert)
5.0, 225HP 300TQ (16mpg city, 24mpg hway)(0-60/6.4 seconds)(1/4 mile/15 seconds)(3329 pounds).

1994-95 Mustang GT
5.0, 215HP 285TQ (18mpg city, 26mpg hway)(0-60/6.6 seconds)(1/4 mile/15 seconds)(3405 pounds).

I hope this helps.

The '94-'95 is a heavier car and the computer stinks. The computer retards the timing at wotwhich slows the car a little.A popular swap is to change out the eec to a '89(A9L). Also, the intake is more restritive than the '87-'93 intakes, change the upperintaketo a '87-'93 intake that will free up some horsepower.

Weird that the 94-95 cars were slower and less powerful cause I eat the $h** out of foxbodys here.. I have no idea what the owner before had done to it but its very responsive. If my computer is choking it now I cant imagine what a better one would do.. What computer could I go with on my 95 GT to make it better? Where do i find it? I would love to get rid of my upper intake.. cant get a good cobra intake cheap enough right now. I would like to go back together with my engine with new mods so I can get the most out of it immediatly. I have a couple Grudge matches to settle with some guys from around here. A new GTO and a LS1 Trans am... on the bottle I bet I can make it a sweet run.

Tell me about it, those 95 ecm do suck. I got a Diablo Sport custom chip burnt on the Dyno yesterday. Just plugging it in on my 95 stang gave me 40 HP, I ended up getting over 50 HP. Hell of a lot more then I thought I would get. Plus about 30 to 40 ft lbs of torque.

Don't the 88 5.0L also have forged pistons? I know my 95 does not. Bull ****!!

87-92 have forged pistons. 93-up have those hyper sensitive to boost/N.O.S. pistons
