Default quick and easy question!

ok I'm going to get strait to the point. I have an 89 LX and a new cold air intake. How do I install it in the fender well? Do I need to get under it? Lift the car and then install?

I'm not sure but the only problem I am having is it doesn't fit into that plastic part of the original within the fender well so that needs to come out and I wasn't sure how to do that

Default RE: quick and easy question!

i just pulled the front part of the wheel well forward and stuck the filter up in there, the hardest part was tightening the filter to the pipe since you cant realy see it and space is minimal. i wasnt able to fit both hands under there to hold the filter as i tighened it so i put a big piece of tape to act as my hand and hold the filter still and in place while i tightened it. hope that helps
