I dont know limit but can say that 5.0 rods are c8 castings I believe and pruported to be quite strong, (but not as good as boss rods...) but you can increase their limit with good prep: shotpean them and upgrade the hardware, they are pretty darn good for being such a hard-working part of the engine.

To make a conservative estimate-stab at your question I would say: more than ~400hp

also you most likely do NOT have forged pistons, they are probably hypereutectic ('93)

Are they stock 5.0 rods, if so did you have any work done to them; did you get them resized, peened, etc?
Have they been apart..

along with peening you can get them polished, it gets rid of the stress risers caused by sharp angles of the manuf process. I commonly hear that the conn rods are the hardest working part of an engine. (streched and smashed with great force each cycle) However the 5.0 block itself will most likely fail before the stock untouched rods unless they were already quite abused.

If a "stock shortblock" 5.0 mill is in good shape the block will probably fail before the rods.

I ran a 306ci for a long time with factory crank (race prepped), factory rods (weighed, balanced, polished and sized to the crank), and I used ARP wave lock rod bolts. Ross race pistons with Total Seal rings and shot it with 175 shot Nos. The motor made around 540 hp with the nitrous. When the motor came out freshened up the bottom end and sold the long block and its still running today. I know thefactory block will not hold morethan 600 hp though.
