Speedo Cable
Anyone have an idea how I can get my speedometer cable on my 88 that had an overdrive tranny with 4 cyl engine to fit my C4 tailhousing or will I need to rplace the cable.It will go in part of the way, just not all the way. Thanks in advance.

May be a problem inside the transmission. I'd wait to see other responses first though. I used the same speedo cable on my car with a c4, aod, & t5. It worked with all 3, so i see no reason why it wouldn't work.

It was very late when I tried to fit it. It was like 3:30AM and I did have a few to drink that evening. I will try again when I get home next week with my drop light and see whats happening with it.
