well, just like the title says.... under hard acceleration i smell burning oil from the headers and im 99% sure its coming from the top of the dipstick... and yes it does have the dipstick in it. haha

i know that could be/ is blow by but when i did the heads the cylender walls looked great, hone marks and all. the compression check was all with in 1 or 2 psi and i had a leak down test done and my mechanic sayed the cylenders are tight as a new motor.

i have the 5-6 lbs vortech kit and with my mods im guessing about 3-4lbs is actually being stuffed into the motor.

the rebuild has prolly about 50k on it. and to me it makes no sense that the pistions are not sealing. pcv is new also....

any ideas

Do you have a breather in the valve cover. You're making too much crank case pressure and it's pushing the dip stick out.

the hose that goes from the T/B to the valve cover is unhooked right? if not you need to unhook it also. I run a check valve in the PVC boost still will sneak by the PVC and into the motor.also put a breath fill cap in place of the factory fill cap so it will let out some the crankcase pressure. if it is real bad you may need to put a breather on the other valve cover also. also make a hook to hold the dipstick in. boost goes by rings trust me. but some more then others. with the low boost you are running in your sig. I would think it wont take much work to fix.

wait.... what is the check valve in the pcv?? what does that do? also, i thought that maybe the pcv was leaking. that would make sense, its not really designed to hold out boost i guess.

Check valve I been using is the one that comes in brake booster it only lets the air go one way

well i capped off the TB and put a breather on the oil fill spout and walla! no more oil out the dipstick! i have never been happier. i was pissed to think it was that much blowby from my pistions

get it fixed soon. the pressure isnt good and tries to find a way out. it can cause your rear main to go out
